Studio 180 Showcase

All Studio 180 students are invited to perform on stage at our year end showcase. This is a great opportunity for our students to demonstrate their talent in front of parents, relatives and friends. Choreography for the showcase will be set during class hours, so it is important for students to attend class regularly. Students who miss more than three classes in the second semester of the school year may be asked to book a private lesson in order to get caught up and participate in the showcase.

Ballet 180 Student Company (ages 8-18)

In addition to our annual showcase, students age 8-18 who seek to expand their dance training beyond the classroom are invited to participate in our Student Company. Student Company dancers perform in mainstage productions, festivals, and outreach events throughout the community.

Student Company members are able to benefit from Ballet 180’s Mentorship Program, which connects young dancers from the Student Company with professional dancers within the Company. The Mentorship Program enables students to connect on a personal level with a positive role model. Through various opportunities with Ballet 180, young dancers are able to work as team with their fellow dancers to gain a holistic understanding of their art, a greater sense of self awareness and confidence, and the tools to excel later in life, whether it be through dance or an alternate field of study.

Skills Developed through Ballet 180’s Mentorship Program:
-Strong work ethic
-Discipline
-Confidence
-Team work
-Self awareness
-Public Speaking
-Passion for dance
